This package is geared towards the homeowner who lives in their dwelling year-round as their primary residence, hosting guests for the weekend while providing breakfast and accommodation. All standard homeowners’ coverages apply with our B&B extensions built into the policy.

Underwriting Manager, Personal Lines Practice Leader 

Krystal Taylor’s career in the Insurance industry spans 15 years, during which she obtained her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation and increasing portfolios of responsibility. She started her career as an auto insurance broker on Vancouver Island in 2003, progressing to the Personal Lines department where she managed her own portfolio of accounts. Before joining Cansure in 2011, Krystal’s last role included travelling to various offices on Vancouver Island to train staff on operating systems, practices and procedures. Krystal is now a Personal Lines Underwriting Manager working in Cansure’s Langley branch.

Underwriting Manager, Personal Lines

Tia Becker is based in Cansure’s Toronto office where she is an Underwriting Manager for Personal Lines. She has an extensive insurance background which spans over 18 years. Her primary focus has been on Personal Lines where she specializes in hard to place, high net worth and high value property risks. Some of her experience includes working for a national insurer and managing general agent where Tia worked directly with various Lloyds Syndicates. Tia has received her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and is currently working towards completing her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) accreditation. As an active member within the Insurance Institute, Tia sits as member on the John E. Lowes scholarship committee.
