ENVIROSURE™:  POLLUTION LIABILITY

Today, every business is subject to environmental risk and liability, making the need for a versatile pollution insurance program essential in managing their exposures. The limited pollution coverage in a Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy is not sufficient when pollution exposures are of a gradual nature. Cansure’s EnviroSURE™: Pollution Liability insurance products are designed to provide you with the broad coverage you need to adequately protect businesses from the continuously changing environmental landscape.

Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL)
This provides protection for contractors’ claims for bodily injury, property damage and environmental damage resulting from pollution conditions caused by covered operations, including work performed by subcontractors who are not normally covered under a general liability insurance policy. Our program includes both CGL and CPL coverages for a broad range of contractors, including environmental contractors who do mould, asbestos, and lead remediation.

Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL)
Cansure’s Environmental Impairment Liability program covers third party pollution exposures for commercial operators who own, lease or rent the premises in which they operate from. It provides coverage for gradual or sudden and accidental pollution for events such as fire, explosion or a sudden spill, as well as seepage over time. It covers first and third party clean-up expenses, bodily injury and property damage arising from a pollution event.
